Huge news, everyone:  We are thrilled to announce that Knight Foundation has renewed its support of DataKind with an investment of $1.1 million!  We are absolutely honored and excited to continue working with their visionary team to further use data science in the service of humanity. 

This critical funding will help us scale the impact of our DataCorps program, grow our Chapter network, as well as fuel the launch of our newest program, our in-house data science team. What this all boils down to is that we can now grow our programs like never before, harnessing the power of data science in the service of humanity with even more talented social sector and data science experts around the world.

Here at DataKind we recognize that the Data-for-Good movement relies on something much more powerful than data - it relies on people. As we often say, none of our work is possible without our tremendous community around the world, and this continued collaboration with Knight Foundation is another shining example of the great people that make our vision possible.  Knight Foundation believed in us and supported us from the beginning and we’re thrilled to continue our work together.
