We were so excited to hear our friends at Crisis Text Line will be publishing their first set of public data, launching Crisis Trends to visualize a year's worth of data in the hopes of preventing future crises.
A few reasons why this stands out:
- Volume: Crisis Trends may be the largest public dataset on teens in crisis to date, bringing unparalleled data to researchers, policy makers, and crisis services trying to help teens in crisis.
- Accessibility: Because Crisis Trends is not just a spreadsheet, but a set of interactive visualizations, it's accessible to anyone who wants to understand how teens experience crisis.
- Relevancy: This is a living product - data will be updated at least weekly, meaning researchers, policy makers and funders will always have access to the latest data.
We love to see examples of innovative organizations like Crisis Text Line not only using data well, but sharing it with others to do the most good. Learn more about this powerful new resource!
