What were you up to before DataKind?

Prior to joining DataKind, I spent the majority of my professional career leading successful customer-facing teams across numerous functions in education technology and nonprofit adjacent organizations. I’ve been fortunate to work for organizations of all sizes – from startups to multinational companies and to bring to life the value that service, technology, and education can build for students, partners, and employees alike.

Why are you excited to join DataKind?

I’ve always been drawn to the power of data to shape and guide our world, and I deeply value the opportunity to work for an organization that sees the social impact data tools can have as central to the mission. To be able to take the skills I’ve honed over my career and direct them toward expanding the footprint of social good tools, both in education and in my community, is exciting and rewarding. More specifically, given my focus on DataKind’s education portfolio – I’m truly excited to be able to use those talents, insights, and domain knowledge to help drive meaningful outcomes for partner organizations.

What do you like to do in your free time?

When I’m not talking to our wonderful partner organizations, I’m probably spending time with my family, or dedicating time to a few of my long-held hobbies – cooking, trivia, and sports (specifically football, hockey, and soccer).

Join the DataKind movement.
